Travelling on a cargo ship is a unique experience. Whether you love the sea, are conscious of your carbon footprint, don't like flying or simply prefer to sail in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the crowds, then travelling by cargo ship is the right choice for you.
We've been doing this for over 30 years and are passionate about providing a personalised service tailored to your needs.
Try us and travel the world your way!
+++ NEWS +++ LAST UPDATED 27th September 2023
There are no cargo/passenger transatlantic, Europe Asia/Australia/New Zealand services available at this time.
MV St Helena voyages from Mediterranean to Chile and return to Jeddah are open to book.
Our website is only listing those routes known to be available to book for travel during 2023/2024.
There may be cruise ship alternatives.
CMA CGM, operator of many of the key routes refuses to engage in any dialogue before January 2024 in respect of the carriage of passengers.
New enquiries are always welcome, do please take some time to check our website for available routes, also our ‘Ask the Captain’ section for frequently asked questions BEFORE contacting us!
There remain very few deep-sea routes available to passengers, most voyages are now short haul European, Mediterranean, Baltic the only exceptions being a service in French Polynesia (mv Aranui V), Europe to/from South Africa, mv St Helena global voyages supporting the Extreme E organisation and Europe to/from Cuba.
We are seeing little appetite from shipowner partners to resume passenger activity on once traditional routes. Remaining routes are booking up quickly owing to higher demand than available cabins.
As the carriage of passengers on cargo ships is discretionary, we cannot speculate which routes or owners might accept passengers in future or their forward pricing indications. We continue to encourage shipowners to facilitate this type of travel and update our website regularly with any new options.
